"I don’t know what’s nextm but if it is it, what a ride it’s been."

With every interview he does, it seems no one is the wiser when it comes to Bryce Cotton’s intentions for next season.

But the five-time MVP says we won’t have to wait much longer.

“We’re gonna figure that out sooner rather than later,” he told 10 News Perth.

The 32-year-old is headed to Puerto Rico to play for the Mets this off-season with no contract beyond, but has been linked to the Chiba Jets in Japan’s B League, with former coach Trevor Gleeson.

The West Australian reported the Wildcats have offered Bryce Cotton a contract that would make him the highest-paid player in NBL history, with the deal taking up approximately half of the team’s salary cap.

When asked if his time with the Wildcats was over, Cotton called it the “million-dollar question” and said it was unlikely he would consider playing for another team in the NBL.

“Nah, like I don’t think that’s a possibility for me, but it’s been a fun right like I still can’t believe I’ve played nine seasons here, it’s been a blur ... don’t know what’s next, but if it is it, what a ride it’s been,” he stated.

“I still haven’t decided what I want to do next, it’s a lot of factors that go into what I need to decide and obviously it’s not just me making the decision.”
