The Hawks are set to reward big man Sam Froling with a new deal.

Illawarra Hawks star Sam Froling is reportedly set to sign a new three-year deal with the club, according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.

A member of the All-NBL Second Team this season, Froling is still just 25 years old, despite having close to 200 games of experience.

He has been an incredibly reliable presence throughout his six seasons with the Hawks.

“Australian big man Sam Froling has agreed to a new three-year deal to return to the Illawarra Hawks, sources told ESPN,” Uluc tweeted.

Froling suffered a serious Achilles injury during this year’s Championship Series, but the Hawks' latest move signals a strong vote of confidence in their star centre.
