Biography

It was a massive 2024 for the 31-year-old smooth shooting big man who not only played a pivotal role in the Tasmania JackJumpers winning the NBL24 championship, but was then part of history playing for South Sudan at Paris 2024.

Was born in South Sudan but moved with his family settling in Adelaide growing to 6'9 and beginning his basketball at the Forestville Eagles to be part of back-to-back Premier League (now NBL1 Central) championships.

Started his college career at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa in 2012 and after two years, transferred to the University at Louisiana at Monroe, culminating in a senior year where he produced 18.4 points and 7.0 rebounds.

Then would play his first three NBL seasons with the Adelaide 36ers and was especially crucial in their Grand Final run against Melbourne United.

Joined the Cairns Taipans ahead of the 2019/20 season and his four seasons were highlighted by his NBL22 campaign with 14.3 points and 4.8 rebounds.

After playing for South Sudan at the FIBA World Cup, joined the JackJumpers in NBL24 and despite a knee injury mid-season, returned for the finals and came up huge in the championship run including a critical 15 points in Game 3 of the Championship Series.

From there, played at the Paris Olympics for South Sudan and now returns to Tasmania for a second season a 227-game NBL veteran.
